Our Story

When I first came to Japan in 2010, I was captivated by the beauty and nature of this incredible country. However, I never imagined that I would return and start a business here. One of the main reasons was the language barrier—almost everyone I met at the time couldn’t speak English.

Despite this, I was fortunate to visit Japan again. During my next visit, I met Mr. Katsumata Tomomi, who warmly welcomed me and invited me to visit his tea farm and factory. It was a challenging time for Japan, as the country was still recovering from the devastating 2011 tsunami. Even though Mr. Katsumata and his esteemed family had been in the tea farming business for nearly 450 years, they were struggling to continue due to the difficult circumstances.

With Mr. Katsumata’s permission, I decided to establish GREENEST CO., LTD in Japan and proposed to introduce his tea to the world—a product he had poured his heart and soul into. I knew that entering the international market with this product meant facing intense competition. However, I had unwavering faith in Japanese products, particularly in the exceptional quality and standards of Japanese tea. My belief was validated when we received an overwhelmingly positive response from countries such as Vietnam, the US, Mexico, India, Dubai, and Pakistan.

That was the beginning of my journey with Mr. Katsumata and Katsumata Tea Co., Ltd., as we became business partners. Together, we expanded our efforts to support small and medium-sized companies, helping them find opportunities overseas. We not only assisted them in connecting with suitable business partners in other countries but also helped them market and sell their products effectively.

Over a decade, we have successfully developed sustainable partnerships in five different countries and have four ongoing joint venture projects spanning various industries, including solar agriculture, home medical services, and amusement parks.

After living and working in Japan for over a decade, I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I have had here. I remain committed to my passion and purpose—helping businesses grow and contributing to society. My goal is to continue supporting small and modern companies, just as my company once was.

I will always carry forward the positive energy and kindness I have experienced in Japan, sharing it with others and pursuing my dream of fostering international cooperation. I believe that by building a solid platform for collaboration, we can create an environment where anyone can turn their dreams into reality.
